Former mountjoy governors talk on parenting in dunderry

The former governor of Mountjoy Prison, John Lonergan, will visit Dunderry tomorrow night to deliver a talk on the challenges and rewards involved with parenting.

Mr Lonergan's talk will focus on a number of important issues facing parents of children of all ages and will draw on his book published in 2013 entitled 'Parenting - the challenges and the rewards.'

The main emphasis will be on raising awareness for parents by highlighting the simple things they can do to make a positive difference in a child's life. The talk will take approximately an hour or so and will be delivered in a relaxed and reflective style.

The event is being hosted by Robinstown NS Parents Association and will be held in Dunderry Hall tomorrow Tuesday 20th April, at 8pm.

All are welcome to come along on the night and the event is provided free of charge. Refreshments will be served.
