Ratoath singer on The Voice
A young Ratoath woman will be battling it out for a place in the live finals in next Sunday’s episode of RTE’s 'The Voice of Ireland'.
Anna O’Hanlon who impressed judges Dolores O’Riordan and Jamelia in the blind auditions, will be battling it out with fellow contestants from Team Dolores in week two of the ‘battle stages’.
When Anna took part in the blind auditions both female judges vied to have her on their team and she chose the Cranberries singer to be her mentor.
Next Sunday, she will learn whether she makes it through to the live final stages of the competition. The show will be broadcast at 6.30pm on Sunday on RTE 1.
There is a lot of local support behind Anna, who plays camogie with Ratoath GAA club.
Two further Meath contestants are through to the battle stages, Pauric McLoughlin of Beechdale Drive, Navan who is also on team Dolores and Sarah Sylvia Furlong from Oristown, Kells, who is on Team Bressie.
