Mrs P Riley, England & Trim

The death occurred, suddenly at her home, on 18th July last of Mrs Pauline Riley (nee O"Dare), Carshalton, Surrey, England. A native of Newhaggard Road, Trim, Mrs Riley was predeceased by her husband, Bob, last September. After leaving school, Mrs Riley went to work in the Torc factory in Trim for a number of years, where she was popular with everyone due to her great sense of humour. She emigrated to England in the mid-1950s. Home and her family were very special to her and she always had a word of welcome for neighbours and friends. Mrs Riley had many interests and hobbies over the years, including her love of gardening and embroidery and, in her young days, she enjoyed going to the pictures and had a scrapbook of all her favourite film stars with their photographs and autographs. She also loved the carnivals and ballroom dancing and was a follower of the GAA, especially the Meath and Trim teams. Her life may have ended suddenly but Mrs Riley has left her family and friends with many great memories to treasure. Deceased is survived by her sons, John, Kevin and Jamie, and their wives and families; sisters, Maudie Connolly, Navan; Phyllis Doyle, Clonard, and Frances Chrysostomou, Trim; brother-in-law, Eddie Connolly; sister-in-law, Pearl Riley; cousins and other relatives. Interment took place in England.
