Calling all teachers and parents of sixth class/sixth year students... Help us celebrate the class of 2020!

We know the loss of the remainder of the school year has had a devastating impact on students both in primary and secondary level.

Thousands of second level students in Meath should be sitting the Leaving Cert this week and they'll also will miss out on traditional end of year celebrations that go with it.

This is also a very difficult time for sixth class pupils who should have been eagerly looking forward to entering First Year of 'Big School' and seeing out their national school days with the classmates and friends they've known since junior infants.

With that in mind we don't want to let the moment pass. We want to acknowledge our Sixth Class pupils and Sixth Year students in the pages of the Meath Chronicle in the weeks ahead.

We are looking for teachers and parents to submit photos of as many sixth class/sixth year students perhaps with a short message to their classmates

Spread the word, send us your snaps and sign offs! Let's salute the class of 2020!

Submitting your photo and message is easy by using our simple form here

The deadline for submissions is June 24th.
