Meath tv viewers need to rescan Saorview boxes
Following a final upgrade to the network, RTE says SAORVIEW viewers of Clermont Carn and Mount Leinster transmitters will need to re-scan their SAORVIEW televisions or boxes before Wednesday 7th November to avoid loss of service. Clermont Carn serves areas in Louth, Meath, North Dublin, Cavan, Monaghan, and Down, Armagh, Antrim. Instructions can be found in the TV or set-top box manual. If you are unsure whether your area is affected please check the online coverage map at www.SAORVIEW.ie or call the information helpline on 1890 222 012. Viewers who receive service by SKY or UPC will be unaffected. Clermont Carn will change from channel 53 to channel 52. By changing SAORVIEW to channel 52 Clermont Carn will vastly increase coverage of SAORVIEW into N. Ireland as well as strengthening SAORVIEW coverage in counties Louth, Meath and north county Dublin.
