Harmon rescues Kildalkey

David Harmon converted an injury-time '65' as Kildalkey maintained their Jubilee Cup hopes with a narrow 2-6 to 0-11 victory over Killyon at Trim last night.

Kildalkey looked in trouble early on when they trailed 0-1 to 0-4 with David Raleigh inspiring Killyon. However a fortunate goal from Harmon and a brilliant strike from Martin Healy settled Kildalkey and boosted them to a 2-3 to 0-8 interval lead.

Scores were scarce after the resumption as the teams tallied 24 wides between them. However Killyon looked to have salvaged a draw when Raleigh pointed in injury-time, but two minutes later Harmon held his nerve to convert a '65' and get Kildalkey back on the winning track.
