Square Wars... Navan photographer creates surreal set of photos of Navan under attack from the Dark Side
The Force has proved to be strong in a Meath-based photographer and graphic designer who has created a spectacular surreal set of images of Navan under attack from Imperial TIE Fighters and AT AT Walkers.
The concept designs were the brainchild of Navan-based and Polish-born photographer Rafal Wojcicki (40), who specialises in music, model and commercial brand photography as well as graphic art and has worked with the likes of MMA fighter Conor McGregor on photoshoots.
The images can be seen at Rafal's site photographerrw.com but the talented artist says that while he loves using technology and software to create these mesmerising images, he's keenly aware of the damage too much tech can do in anyone's life:
"There is one thing I'm sure of, every change evokes positive and negative emotions and we must be aware of this for our own mental health. I ask my clients, do you want machines and technology to absorb you and take over your life, filling every aspect of it? Put your smart phone and TV on your shelf for 24 hours a week, do not live for this technology because soon, just like the AT AT Walker on Market Square, it will be chasing you."
