Late Late Show going Back to Future this evening
Ryan Tubridy will be joined by Back to the Future star Michael J Fox on tonight's Late Late Show on RTÉ One.
Tubridy told his listeners on RTÉ Radio 1 earlier this week that he is "very excited" about talking to the actor and Parkinson's disease campaigner.
Fox will look back at his key movies, talk about the work of his foundation - which is researching a cure for Parkinson's disease - and how he is very much looking forward to turning 60.
Also appearing on tonight's show is former President of Ireland Mary Robinson."It's 30 years since she was elected President of Ireland," said Tubridy. "What an extraordinary time when you think back on that historic win." They will also discuss Covid, climate change and the US Presidential election.
Irish Women in Harmony - including Ruth Anne, Aimée, Moya Brennan, Sibeal, Laoise and Erica Cody - will share their "gorgeous" Christmas song, Together at Christmas, in aid of the ISPCC. There will be more music from Dublin rapper Malaki, with his unique take on Van Morrison's Someone Like You.
Social media favourites the Flemings will discuss how they've been keeping their spirits up in Kerry, and there will also be a look at the stunning collection of images from the book Old Ireland in Colour.
