Ciaran Caulfield will have a big role to play for Meath tomorrow in the Leinster MFC quarter-final.

Minors target place in last four

Meath advanced to the Leinster MFC quarter-final when they demolished Dublin in seven-minute second-half spell for a 1-15 to 0-7 victory at Pairc in mid-October.

However, a week later it was announced that minor football and hurling competitions would have to be put on hold after Croke Park announced that inter-county games at u-17 and u-20 levels were to be postponed "until further notice."

Meath were due to take on Westmeath in a midweek tie at Ashbourne and now that game will take place tomorrow at Pairc Tailteann 12.30pm as the championship resumes.

Meath lost to Westmeath last year in Mullingar and will be eager to get a win and advance to the last four tomorrow.

There will be updates on Meath Chronicle social media platforms from Pairc Tailteann tomorrow from midday.

The Meath team is: Billy Hogan; Ben Moran, Liam Kelly, Ben Donnelly; Sean O'Donoghue, Oisin Kelly, Ciaran Caulfield; Sean Emmanuel, Conor Gray; John McDonagh, Ruairi Kinsella, Mark Coffey; Alan Bowden, Eoghan Frayne, Aaron Murphy.
