Gardai confirm human remains found before Christmas were that of missing Dunboyne man

Following the discovery of human remains on 20th December 2020 in Dunboyne, the search for missing person Terry Byrne, (45), has been stood down. Gardai have thanked the media and the public for their assistance.

Extensive searches had been carried out in the area since the father of two went missing from his home on 7th February last year and his photograph had appeared on Deliveroo Rider Delivery Bags as part of a national Bring Them Home Campaign.
