David Dunne winner at Dundalk
Meath trainer David Dunne was on the mark tonight at Dundalk when the eight-year-old mare Pretty Little Liar won at 18/1 in the Find Us On Facebook @dundalkstadium Handicap.
It was a first win since early 2019 and Danny Sheehy was on board this evening to get the better of the Siobhan Rutledge ridden Fallen Forest.
The winner was impeded at the start, but recovered well to lead inside final furlong and win by over a length.
“She ran well here last time and I really knew she was coming back to herself," commented the winning trainer.
James McAuley was also on the mark with a second winner in six days with a 2,000 guineas-purchase as his Approach The City won a claimer.
A winner in December at the track for Nigel Slevin and Robbie Colgan, Gormanston got another win when landing a seven-furlong handicap for the Harbour Lads Syndicate.
