Double for Carberry

Paul Carberry returned to the winners' enclosure at Punchestown this evening and then completed a quick double. He won a maiden hurdle for trainer Noel Meade with Cottage Oak by a convincing eight lengths. A novice hurdle is the next target and then Galway might be considered according to the trainer. Carberry completed the double when Whats Up Gorden from the Adrian Maguire stable won a handicap hurdle. The Galway Plate might be a target. Trainer Andy Lynch was also on the mark when jockey Andrew Lynch partnered Coscorrig to victory in a handicap chase.
