Tayto Park's zoo set to reopen at the end of April
Tayto Park has announced that it will officially reopen its zoo on Friday, 30th April.
Tayto Park, located in Ashbourne is home to a unique and diverse animal collection, in the Tayto Park Zoo. In accordance with government guidelines, the Tayto Park Zoo area of the internationally renowned theme park, will re-open on Friday, 30th April at 10:00am.
Entry to Tayto Park Zoo will be by pre-booked tickets only – ticketed time slots are available to purchase now at www.TaytoPark.ie. There will be no admission without a pre-booked ticket. Tayto Park theme park attractions will not be open until further notice in accordance to government guidelines.
The perfect day out for all the family to enjoy, put your zoo skills to the test and discover the exceptional and diverse animal collection at the Tayto Park Zoo, which houses many conservation dependent species. Home to more than 300 animals and 80 different species, choose from a variety of walk ways and trails and get up close and personal with some of the most famous animals at the Tayto Park Zoo including the Amur tiger, Amur leopard and Eurasian lynx!
Check out the primate collection which includes squirrel monkey, red-bellied tamarins Geoldi's monkey, the fun loving ring-tailed lemurs and the critically endangered Sulawesi crested macaques. Explore the selection of beautiful and colourful birds, including the Tayto Park World of Raptors, featuring birds of prey from around the globe, including vultures, eagles, owls, hawks and more!
Cool down with an ice cream from Scoop and Sprinkles or take a break and re-fuel with take-away dining options from Tayto Park’s Outback Restaurant and Coffee Bistro, all before burning off some energy at Pow Wow and Spud Hara Playgrounds, featuring towers, slides, swings, climbing frames, mazes and rope bridges for all ages!
