Trainer Gerry Keane injured in fall

Trim racehorse trainer Gerry Keane has been hospitalised following a fall earlier this month.

Gerry Keane is father of champion jockey Colin Keane who earlier this year was named the 2020 Meath sportsperson of the year.

Gerry has been training for many years at his base outside Trim and has enjoyed many big race wins.

Laughifyouwant was one such winner when landing the 2020 Paddy Power Irish Cambridgeshire at the Curragh.

That was a real family occasion as Colin was on board and Gerry's wife Esther is part owner with Fergus and Sandra Cumiskey (breeders).

Gerry remains in hospital at the moment and is receiving treatment for his injury.
