Public thanked after stolen quad recovered
Monaghan Community Engagement Unit will attend Clones Garda Station later this afternoon, Friday, September 10, between 12 noon and 4pm
The public have been thanked by An Garda Siochana for their assistance in helping recover a stolen quad bike abandoned near Kingscourt earlier this week.
This Honda quad was found on the walking path in Dun na Rí Forest Park, and an alert put out asking for assistance in tracking the rightful owner.
It subsequently transpired that the vehicle had been stolen sometime earlier from a property located in the Navan area.
“Thanks to those of our followers who shared the post and helped to locate the rightful owner,” gardaí posted on social media.
Meanwhile, members attached to the Monaghan Community Engagement Unit will attend Clones Garda Station later this afternoon, Friday, September 10, between 12 noon and 4pm to meet and engage with the public.
