Sewerage works on Bakery Lane until mid December

45 metres of new pipe being installed

Irish Water is working to improve the sewer network in the Trimgate Street and Bakery Lane area of Navan. The delivery of this wastewater project will support existing and future residential and commercial development and will help to safeguard the environment by reducing the risk of wastewater overflows.

Works involve the construction of approximately 45 metres of new sewer along Trimgate Street and Bakery Lane. Works along Trimgate Street are now completed. Remaining works along Bakery Lane are scheduled to be delivered from Monday 29th November until completion in mid-December between 9am and 6pm daily. Works along Bakery Lane will require a lane closure with pedestrian diversion via Old Cornmarket in Navan. Traffic management will be in place with local and emergency access maintained at all times. Irish Water says it understands that this type of work may be inconvenient and work crews will make every effort to minimise any disruption these necessary works cause. These improvement works are being delivered on behalf of Irish Water by Farrans Construction.
