What’s on at this year's Fairyhouse Easter Festival?
The Fairyhouse Easter Festival is filled with glamour, festivities, music, entertainment and of course top-class National Hunt Racing with over €1.25million in prize money up for grabs.
Saturday April 16th | Day 1
Easter Saturday is the perfect day to gather a group for a fantastic day of top-class racing followed by live music from The Blizzards in the festival marquee after racing. There are a range of hospitality packages to choose from, suitable for groups and budgets of all sizes.
Sunday April 17th | Day 2
Family fun day on Easter Sunday promises a thrilling combination of top-class jump racing, featuring the Grade 1 Gold Cup, and a host of free entertainment and activities for children of all ages, with face painters, balloon modelling and bubble fun for everyone. Roll up with the family for the children’s theatre shows with interactive pantomime puppets and a magic ventriloquism show, with a grand finale starring the Easter bunny. Pilgrim Street will play after racing in the marquee.
Monday April 18th | Day 3
The Boylesports Irish Grand National has become a stalwart at the heart of the Irish sporting calendars and this year Fairyhouse will host the 150th running of the Irish Grand National which has been sponsored by Boylesports since 2014 with €500,000 in prize money.
Complimenting the racing action will be the Dunboyne Castle Hotel & Spa Most Stylish Lady competition with 2011 Irish Grand National winning jockey and Dancing with the Stars winner Nina Carberry joining style sponsor Gráinne Ross, Managing Director of Dunboyne Castle Hotel & Spa, to choose the most stylish lady on the day. The theme of this year’s most stylish lady is ‘vintage sparkle’.
