McGill and Ennis named as award winners
Meath full-back Conor McGill has been named as the Meath GAA Footballer of the Year it has been announced.
The Ratoath player certainly had a good year with is club helping them to a Keegan Cup success.
He put in a series of consistent performances for club and county and is sure to feature in the green and gold of the Royal County under new manager Colm O'Rourke.
The Young Hurler of the Year is Trim goalkeeper Charlie Ennis. He was a major factor in helping Trim to a Meath SHC title. He also played his part in helping Jimmy Canty's side reach a Leinster Club IHC final.
The 'Young Footballer of the Year' is Dunshaughlin's Ruairi Kinsella while the 'Young Hurler of the Year' is George Douglas, also of Trim.
Castletown were named as the 'Club of the Year' while the 'Ground of the Year' was Ballinlough's. The 'Referee of the Year' was Derek Ryan, Na Fianna while the 'Most Improved Referee' was Ollie Regan.
The PRO award went to Navan O'Mahonys.
