Motoring enthusiasts are being encouraged to "rev their engines" for this year's Meath Steam Run 'Drive and Jive' event taking place on 8th July.

Organisers are planning a "spectacular" car, bike, tractor and truck show that will "leave you in awe."

They are encouraging all motor enthusiasts to join them in the grounds of the Moynalty Steam Threshing Museum to bring their vehicles out on the open road for this special fundraising event.

For a fee of €20 you can join the road run while if you're also interested in hearing the amazing music line-up along with a full bar and be entered for the weekend show then you'll be charged a fee of €30.

Those who wish to experience the full evening entertainment but not participate in the run, the cost is €20.

All the proceeds from the event will go towards supporting Breast Cancer Ireland and Féileacáin (Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Association of Ireland).

Participants are asked to arrive at the museum site (located at A82C6K7) to register on the morning of the road run between 11.30am and 1.30pm. The run will then depart at 2pm.

Meath Steam Run are promising visitors some fantastic evening entertainment beginning at 5.30pm:

"After the exhilarating road run, stick around for an evening filled with incredible music. Join us for a fantastic performance by Paul Kelly, Chelsea Kelly, and Meadhbh Walsh."

Organisers are asking you to be a part of the memorable day.

"Save the date and make your way to Moynalty Steam Threshing for the Meath Steam Run."

"This is your chance to unite with fellow truck enthusiasts, show off your wheels, and support two worthy causes at the same time."
