Irish sister duo, An Chéad Ghlúin Eile (The Next Generation) are "delighted" to be releasing their first ever single on 7th July.

The Ráth Cairn women, Étáin and Máire Ní Churraoin's song 'Tá Mo Chleamhnas Déanta’ (My Match Was Made) is a bilingual song with verses alternating between Irish and English. It's usually a sad song but the singers have added a final verse to the song to give it a happy ending.

The sisters are Irish traditional Sean-Nós singers with a "grá for Ireland’s singing tradition."

Accompanying the sisters on the single are musicians Cathal Ó Curráin and Nathan Grant. The single will be available on all digital platforms such as Spotify, AppleMusic and YouTube Music. Their digital and physical album will also be released soon.

The duo said "We are so excited to share our version of ‘Tá Mo Chleamhnas Déanta’ with the world next week."

Étáin agus Máire frequently feature on TG4 as performers or guests on shows such as Bláth na hÓige and Dúirt Bean Liom. The native Irish speakers are full-time Irish content creators and singers.
