Navan Pride Parade 2023 success with more than 600 people marching

Navan's first ever Pride proved to be a "loving, colourful and happy" event with the incredible turnout of more than 600 people.

Justice Minister Helen McEntee was among the partakers in the parade on Saturday, 1st July. The group set off from the Fair Green Car Park at approximately 2pm and made their way through the town.

Navamba Samba, Samba band based in Navan and Irish National Foresters Brass Band, also located in Navan performed music pieces at the parade.

The pride team took to social media to show their gratitude to all those involved in the success of the day:

"Thank you to everyone who put in so much hard work into organising, funding, and sponsoring Navan Pride."

"YOU helped make this possible by attending and supporting our events and bringing such a big turnout today. YOU are amazing."

Navan Pride Parade 2023 is a memory that will be cherished by the community for a long time.
