RTÉ release new promo video ahead of The Late Late Show series return

The Late Late show shared a video teasing the return of RTÉ's Friday night flag ship chat show.

The Late Late Show will return on RTÉ One and the RTÉ Player at 9.35pm on 15th September.

The popular show is returning with a new host, Patrick Kielty who is taking over from Ryan Tubridy who stepped down after 14 years on the live talk show.

Speaking in May when he was announced as the new Late Late Show host, Kielty said:

"To follow in the footsteps of Gay, Pat and Ryan as the next custodian is a real honour and I can't thank RTÉ enough for giving me the chance to be a part of the next chapter of such an iconic show."

Patrick Kielty began his stand-up career as host of Northern Ireland's first comedy club, The Empire Laughs Back, in Belfast. He then built a career across TV and radio, and live stand-up tours.
