All set for big camogie showdowns on Super Saturday

The local camogie championship draw to a close with a series of intriguing county finals down for decision this Saturday.

At Trim, 3.30, Na Fianna and Kilmessan met up to decide who ends up as senior Bective Stud, Tea Rooms and Apartments senior champions for 2023.

Will Na Fianna hold onto the silverware or will Kilmessan once more regain their place as champions?

When these two teams met they invariably produce an action-packed encounter and it's unlikely to be any different this time around.

On Saturday the day's action gets underway when Trim take on Navan O'Mahonys in the Intermediate final. This game has an 11am start in Boardsmill so but there early so as not to miss any of the action. This too is a contest that could be close from start to finish.

Later on Saturday the focus switches to Trim's St Loman's Park where Dunderry meet Kiltale in the Bective Stud, Tea Rooms and Apartments Junior A decider at 1.30.

This is the curtain-raiser to that eagerly awaited senior showdown.

Trim (red jerseys) will be led by Hayley Kennedy and Rian Kearns in the Meath All-Ireland Intermediate final while the Navan O'Mahonys skipper is Mags Tomkins.
The Junior A final promises to be an close encounter and Dunderry will be led by Eimear Daly (left) while Kiltale will be led out by Shirley Lennon.
